Red Carpet Time Machine - Poster Art

This is a flyer I made for Uhuru Sasa’s fashion show at the University of Rhode Island. The client asked for a scene depicting a red carpet leading up to a Time Machine.
The challenge here was figuring out what a Time Machine looked like. Time travel has been depicted is a variety of ways such as a car, a phone booth, and a man running faster than light. I brainstormed with the client for different ideas and we agreed on making it a structure implying that there is a Time Machine inside.
I used Procreate for concept sketches. Blender, for modeling, materials, and rendering. Photoshop for post production and adding text.
The client and URI students were happy and impressed with the end result. Some even telling me it was the best flyer in the shows history.
